Kristi Paul is determined to get things done. That commitment has built a solid foundation with clients, industry partners and colleagues. Imagine the determination it took to haul an acoustic guitar from place to place, with an undying commitment to one day learn to play the instrument. Finally, today she can say that she has started lessons and can somewhat effectively play Garth Brookes’ “Thunder Rolls.“
A veteran to the integrated reseller business, Kristi began her IT career in 2000 after over ten years of marketing experience in other industries. Having stood by her father and his Applied Communications (ACM) business, first as an account manager, and later as its vice president, Kristi purchased the company in 2006 and became its president and chief executive officer. When considering the future business of IT, Kristi was convinced the company needed to do more for its clients. It was this determination, which led to the merge of N’compass and Applied Communications in January of 2011. Both companies believe “we can provide more together than we can apart.” That along with similar corporate values, culture and a burning vision to deliver for clients, contributes to her confidence in the decision to be “One N’compass.”
Kristi fuels her passion by helping both clients and the company succeed. And with many years of experience in multiple occupational capacities, she has touched all elements of the business. She is resourceful with the ability to see the big picture and paint a strategic plan for clients looking to overcome the challenges that keep them up at night.
